The Fratoni Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced exclusively from olives of indigenous origin, selected in the Piceno area and nearby Abruzzo.
The flavour of this extraordinary oil varies according to the degree of ripeness of the olives.
A further characteristic and guarantee of quality is the ancient pressing method used for extraction, defined as: first cold pressing. A totally visual process, necessary to follow each stage of processing and to obtain the highest guarantees of quality and hygiene.

The distinction between "filtered oil" and "unfiltered oil" takes place in the last production phase.
Nin the filtered variant,the olive fragments still in suspension in the liquid are removed, the resulting oil is very clear with a delicate flavour.
The characteristic of unfiltered oil is rather its genuineness. This oil has small olive fragments in suspension, rich in vitamins and polyphenols, which, over time, deposit on the bottom of the bottle and give the oil its typical dark green colour.
